

Dewasis Dahal is a water resources researcher specializing in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, watershed management, and sustainable infrastructure development. He applies advanced tools including AI, machine learning, GIS, and hydraulic simulation software to address complex challenges in flood risk, stormwater management, and climate resilience.
Dewasis earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Environment and Water Resources) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering from Kathmandu University. His research spans collaborative projects in the United States and Nepal, with expertise in flood modeling, environmental planning, and water security.
